(1) PRINTS In 2005 Beken converted to digital photography using the latest Canon Eos 1DS mkII 16.7 mega-pixel cameras. Digital prints are now available from all the Beken negatives from the 1880’s right up to today’s modern digital images. Beken are renowned for their quality and resulting digital prints are in many ways superior to those achievable in the past. Over the last 120 years we have used negatives of various size and some images may be too square to fill the rectangular paper size requested. We will endeavour to give you the biggest print possible within the paper dimensions & in the event of no specific cropping instructions we will use our best artistic judgement. |
